After the initial T0 test, engineers review the part geometry, surface quality, and any preliminary dimensional issues that may have been detected that could affect the mold’s basic functionality.
This is the first opportunity to observe possible defects, such as sink marks, deformations, or insufficient injections, and to proceed, if necessary, with rigorous refinement.
If success occurs at T1, the process can continue; if not, there is a way back to modify and correct defects that prevent progress toward T2 and T3, and of course, toward the greatest possible efficiency when the time comes for large-scale production.
DRAGUER’s effectiveness in successful T1 tests exceeds 90%.
